About Bourbon
There are not many things more American than bourbon, and although most of it is produced in Kentucky, it can be produced all over the USA. It must be made with at least 51% corn and bottled at 40% ABV or higher. So why not give this American classic a try?
The nose is oaky with tobacco, wormwood, and pine aromas followed by sweet walnut, apple pie, shortbread, as well as floral and fruity aromas. The palate is pleasantly sweet and citrusy with plenty of fruit notes: pomegranate, strawberry, and rhubarb. Baking spice, tannins, and earthy undertones make for a complex sip with lingering smoked paprika, black pepper, cherry, and a touch of chalk on the finish.
