About Bayou White Rum

Crafted with pride in Louisiana, this rum is an original American spirit that takes you on a journey through the rich alluvial soils of the Mississippi River Delta. Imagine sipping a spirit distilled from local sugarcane molasses, produced by America's oldest operating sugar mill since 1829! This white rum embodies the sophistication of New Orleans and the essence of its Cajun roots. Experience the vibrancy of Bayou White Rum's fresh, multi-layered flavor profile. Distilled in an exquisite copper pot still system, it achieves a rare delicate complexity not often found in white rums. After its creation, it rests for 40 harmonious days, allowing the crisp and clean flavors to meld perfectly. On your palate, prepare for a sweet embrace of creamy vanilla bean and the gentle kiss of honeysuckle nectar. It concludes with a slightly creamy finish that leaves a smooth and memorable impression. It’s an award-winning spirit with two Gold Medals in 2023 from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and the Beverage Testing Institute.

We distinguish between 4 different Rum categories, where white or unaged rum is mainly used in cocktails, while dark, spiced, and añejo (aged) rum are mostly enjoyed neat.
