The Story

About Donato Select Vodka

Produced at the Hetman Distillery in Ukraine, Donato Select Vodka is crafted with the finest European grains. Pleasantly light, the mash bill is a secret blend of wheat, rye, and barley. Versatile yet full of character, sip it neat or use it in vodka-forward cocktails. It was awarded Silver twice by the USA Spirits Ratings in 2019 and 2020 respectively.

In 1782, the first distillery in Iviv, Ukraine, was opened by the Bachevsky family, making it the oldest distillery. Eventually, they began supplying their spirits to the royal courts of Europe. Most recently, Hetman Distillery has launched their award-winning Donato Select Vodka line.

About Vodka

Historians are not clear on the exact origin of vodka since different sources link its beginning to both Russia and Poland. But one thing is clear: this somewhat simple spirit, first used as a medicinal concoction, has become one of the most versatile drinks in the world.

It can be distilled from any type of grains, potatoes, or even grapes worldwide. Due to its simplicity, this unaged spirit's main flavor factor is the quality of water and the ingredients used in the distillation process.

Primarily used in cocktails, vodka can also stand its ground when enjoyed neat.
