About Early Times Kentucky Whisky (1.75L)

Early Times Kentucky Whisky is one of America’s sweethearts for a reason. This is a good spirit with a decent aroma of vanilla and oak and an unexpected depth of flavor that you can have neat or mixed in a cocktail. Very versatile and easy to drink, you can find that in most bars throughout the country. It is created by blending straight bourbon, aged in new oak barrels, and a whisky distilled from a bourbon mash, aged in used cooperage. The two work well together, with oak shining through nicely, not letting the used cooperage dominate the flavor. The final mashbill of this whiskey is 79% Corn, 11% Rye, and 10% Malted Barley. Early Times Kentucky Whisky was aged for 3 years before being bottled at the common 40% ABV. This is a neat drink that would feel good in any whiskey lover’s cabinet across the country. The price certainly allows it.

About American Whiskey

There are two main representatives of the American whiskey family, bourbon, and rye, but some other spirits don't fall into those two strictly regulated categories.

There's equally strictly regulated American single malt, made from 100% malted barley, Tennessee whiskey, essentially bourbon filtered through maple charcoal and aged in new charred oak barrels.

And then there's moonshine, a high proof (150- 170 proof) distilled spirit mainly made out of corn which gained popularity during the prohibition.

Check out our impressive selection of American single malts, or find your new favorite in our rich whisk(e)y selection, and get familiarized with what the world has to offer.
