The Glasgow Distillery Company’s G52 Botanical Vodka range has been deliberately developed to explore multiple flavor profiles, and to encourage adventurous cocktail experimentation. The vodka is handcrafted using a range of carefully picked botanicals, creating a complex and sophisticated spirit made from 100% natural ingredients and without adding any artificial flavors, sweeteners or colorants.

G52 Botanical Vodka Fresh Citrus is inspired by the merchant past on which Glasgow was built, and made with fresh ingredients sourced from around the world. The vodka is distilled in the distillery’s traditional copper pot still, Annie, using zesty botanicals including fresh grapefruit, lemon, limes, and oranges, as well as rosehip and spicy fresh ginger, creating a fresh and vibrant spirit of unique character.

When The Glasgow Distillery Company opened in 2014, it became the first single malt whisky distillery in Glasgow for over 100 years. Named after one of Glasgow’s original distilleries, which was founded at Dundashill in 1770 and closed at the beginning of the 20th century, The Glasgow Distillery Company embraces the pioneering spirit of Scotland’s first licensed distillers. The founders, Liam Hughes, Mike Hayward and Ian McDougall, are on a mission to bring single malt distilling back to the city, and hope that their venture marks the start of a whole new age of distilling in Glasgow. About Vodka

Tasting Notes

The nose offers aromas of fresh lemons and lime, and hints of vibrant kiwi fruit balanced by sharp pink grapefruit. The vodka is extremely smooth on the palate, with notes of lemon sherbet balanced by freshly zested lemon rind, and waxy lime with hints of soft peach. Juicy sweets on the finish are accompanied with tropical notes of sharp pineapple.
