Gooderham & Worts Four Grain Whisky is a complex Canadian whisky. It’s created mainly from soft double-column distilled corn and a once-column and pot-distilled rye with a touch of once-column and pot-distilled wheat and barley. Beautifully bold, complex, and balanced, this blend begins with the warming aromas of freshly baked bread and roasted nuts that lead into the flavors of sweet caramel and toffee, followed by warming rye spice and mature oak, finishing off with a subtle hint of green apple.
In 1837, William Gooderham and John Worts established the Gooderham & Worts Distillery in downtown Toronto, meaning the distillery precedes the city of Toronto. As some two hundred others followed suit, downtown Toronto became known as "The Distillery District." Gooderham & Worts Distillery eventually grew and became the largest distillery in the world in the late 19th century. After William Gooderham’s death, World War I, and the following temperance movement, the distillery changed hands and eventually shuttered in the 1990s. In 2015, the Corby Distillery brought the label back and relaunched this historic Whisky.

When thinking about whiskey, Scotland, Ireland, and the USA would be the first countries that would pop to mind, but around 30 whiskey nations are closing the gap with the leading nations in whisky production.
In addition to Japan, where one of the best types of whiskey is produced, other whiskey-producing countries include Canada, Taiwan, India, France, and Switzerland.
A luxurious gold hue. A complex nose with aromas of red apples, dried spices, and honey. The palate is complex, full, and round with subtle raisin bread, almonds, and red apples, followed by fresh bread and barley malt. The finish is warm with lingering rye spices and a hint of green apple.
