About Freedom Whiskey Co. Small Batch Bourbon Whiskey

HASOF Whiskey Co. Small Batch Bourbon is crafted from a mash bill of 75% Corn, 21% Rye, and 4% Barley, and aged in new charred oak barrels to reveal a pleasantly sweet flavor profile with highlights of vanilla bean, leather, and oak. The finish echoes the palate with spice, vanilla, malt and a touch of oak. Hand bottled at 90 proof.

About Have A Shot Of Freedom Whiskey Co.

The idea for Freedom Whiskey Co. was conceived on a summer’s day in Helmand Province, Afghanistan (2011). Have A Shot Of Freedom Whiskey Co. is the passion project of HASOF Whiskey Co. military veteran founder's Zach Hollingsworth (U.S. Marine Corps) and Scott Brown's (U.S. Air Force). Inspired by The Marines of Alpha Battery, 1st Battalion,10th Marines led by a Senior Staff NCO who shouted, "Marines, enjoy this day! For those who fight to protect it, Freedom has a flavor the protected will never know!"

HASOF Whiskey Co. is the embodiment of this flavor of freedom in every bottle of bourbon. Freedom Whiskey is an homage to those who served and sacrificed for their country. Their small batch bourbon is handcrafted with the hope to bring Veterans, patriots, and general civilians together. Produced in Spring Valley, CA Freedom Whiskey is distilled under the guidance of a Navy Veteran / Master Distiller and matured using grains from local California farms and barrels from South Carolina.

Freedom Whiskey Co. is a 100% Veteran Owned Company dedicated to the creation of first-class craft spirits while providing employment opportunities to Veterans and they’re families. The business also contributes to initiatives like Fisher House, and The Semper Fi Fund, offering $500 in Donations in honor of Corporal Joshua A. Sams, a Marine that lost both legs while defending his country during his 3rd deployment to Afghanistan.

Tasting Notes

Opens with sweet vanilla and oak on the nose, followed by caramel, malted barley, light charcoal, leather, and rye spice.On the palate are pleasant notes of sweet malt, vanilla bean, and oak, followed by layers of leather, spicy rye, and sweet malt. The finish echoes the palate with spice, vanilla, malt and a touch of oak.
