Using the exceptionally smooth Clase Azul silver tequila, the result is fresh and entirely unique. You can immediately taste the sweet flavors of pomegranate, but they never overwhelm as the tequila lends its rich, earthy agave notes. This intriguing premium spirit can be enjoyed on the rocks, chilled, or in a neat shot, but its incredible potential lies in mixing – whether it’s a martini, a cosmopolitan, a fresh cocktail made with fine sparkling wine or natural fruit juice, La Pinta will elevate any standard cocktail to new heights.

About La Pinta
Tapalpa is a magical town in Jalisco in central-western Mexico. Known for its traditional buildings with white facades and red-tiled roofs, the area was named "Land of Colors" in Nahuatil by the natives. All those centuries ago, a traditional distilled spirit known as "Ponche de Granada", which meant pomegranate punch, was a popular choice among the natives. Drawing inspiration from this Mexican heritage, the founders created a traditional pomegranate liqueur to honor this tradition and named it after the ship Columbus used in his first transatlantic voyage – the same one that brought the first pomegranate fruits to Mexico all those hundreds of years ago.
This typical aperitif has its origins in 13th century Italy where it was used for medicinal purposes. The liqueur is produced worldwide and can have all sorts of flavor profiles, from fruit, spices, nuts, and even cream, and has a low proof of 15 to 30% ABV.
Liqueur can be enjoyed in many different fashions, from drinking neat, in cocktails, served with coffee, or even used for cooking.
A resfreshing and sweet nose. The palate is sweet with notes of pomegranate that are beautifully balanced by earthy agave flavors. The finish is smooth, long and sweet.
