About Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino Extra Añejo Tequila

Emerging from the fiery depths of Jalisco’s western lowlands arises a legendary entity named Maestro Dobel —a phoenix reborn with every passing generation of its family-owned distillery, boasting a remarkable lineage of eleven successive generations. With a cunning and daring entrepreneurial mindset, the masterful artisan Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta (known as DOBEL) joined forces with the equally astute tequila connoisseurs Marco Anguiano and Luis Yerenas to craft one of the world’s most exquisite and luxurious blends of tequila. Produced by bare hands in the lowlands of Jalisco, Maestro Dobel 50 Cristalino is made with 100% Blue Weber Agave, carefully nurtured and sourced from a single-family operated property, and matured in American and Eastern oak barrels for 36 months. Cristalino clocks in at 40% ABV and showcases caramel and honey aromas with enticing quince, date, cinnamon, and vanilla flavors.

About Maestro Dobel

The Maestro Dobel brand of Tequila may be a newcomer, having been established in 2008, but that doesn’t mean it is to be underestimated. The brains behind this fine spirit is none other than Juan Domingo Beckmann Legorreta, the 11th-generation heir of the legendary Jose Cuervo dynasty. The secret to their exquisite taste lies in their single-estate agave grown in the volcanic lowlands of Jalisco, harvested during the dry months for the ultimate concentration of sweet, sugary goodness. From the traditional masonry ovens to the yeast crafted in the quality control lab, every step of the Maestro Dobel process gets crafted with care and precision. And the aging process? It gets overseen by the Maestros Tequileros, who create each batch by mingling different vintages for a consistently unique flavor. And let's not forget the bottle — the design is the perfect showcase for this epitome of traditional Tequila making.

About Tequila

Although tequila has developed a bad reputation, there's more to the spirit than just shots on a Saturday night.

This traditional Mexican drink origins in the state of Jalisco when according to a local legend, lightning struck an agave cactus before the Nahua tribe drank its warm nectar. Behold, tequila.

Legally, tequila has to be made of 51% of Blue agave around the Jalisco region in Mexico. There are different types of tequila according to age - from the youngest representatives, blanco, reposado, and añejo, to the oldest extra añejo.
