About Pa'lante White Rum

Distilled in Chiapas, Mexico, at the Rones de México distillery, Pa'lante White Rum is crafted under the watchful eye of Maestro Ronero Jorge Perez. It's a blend of 2 distinct rums: one is distilled from sugarcane juice using a traditional pot still, the other from molasses using a column still. After the two are blended, they mature for 6 months in ex-bourbon casks. This expression is the one that Pa'lante uses as the base for their flavored expressions. Bottled at 80 proof, it's a sweet, bright, and floral rum with a touch of tropical fruit.

About Rum

Rum history allegedly started in the Carribiens in the 17th century when they started to ferment and distill molasses, a byproduct of sugar production. Most of the Rum is aged in oak or ex-wine casks, giving its color and flavor.


We distinguish between 4 different Rum categories, where white or unaged rum is mainly used in cocktails, while dark, spiced, and añejo (aged) rum are mostly enjoyed neat.
