Perro Verde Tobasiche Mezcal is an artisanal masterpiece that celebrates the rare Tobasiche agave—a wild variety that matures over 17 long years in nature. Crafted with passion and precision, it undergoes a manual mallet extraction, roasting in conical pit ovens lined with volcanic rocks and Huizache wood, natural fermentation in wooden casks, and double distillation in copper and clay stills. The result? A mezcal with no additives, just pure, untamed perfection. This mezcal seduces with its rich smoky and spicy aroma, laced with hints of salt, tropical sweetness, and fruit. On the palate, expect delicate notes of lemongrass, green melon, star fruit, and a subtle spiced kick of ginger and star anise. Smooth and complex, this Tobasiche delivers a lingering charred, oily finish that’s unforgettable. Rare and noble, it’s a true gem in every glass.

About Mezcal
Mezcal is a distilled spirit made from roasted agave plants between two days and two weeks, which gives it a distinct smokey flavor. What scotch is for whisk(e)y, mezcal is for tequila.
It can be made from different types of agave in different parts of Mexico, but most of it (60%) comes from the state of Oaxaca. Mezcal offers a large diversity of flavor profiles and ranges between 40 and 55% ABV.
The nose is smoky, rich, and fruity with tropical aromas, lemongrass, and salty undertones. The palate is sweet and fruity with green melon, apple, ginger, and star anise.
