Fresh out of Owensboro, Kentucky, comes a traditional and devoted distillery dutifully committed to producing top-shelf whiskey. Aptly named Green River Distilling, this beverage producer was established by J.W. McCulloch in 1885 near Green River, southcentral Kentucky. Impressive oak forests surround its limestone-rich silvery liquid and act as the primary water source today. And one instance of their delicious produce is certainly Shady Mile High Wheat Bourbon. With its mash bill of 70% Corn, 21% Wheat, 9% Malted Barley and 90 proof, it possesses the right amount of sweetness from the corn and nuttiness from the wheat, resulting in a warming kick.
