About Siete Misterios Espadin Mezcal

Siete Misterios is geared toward keeping the art of traditional mezcal production alive. Their wide range of mezcals highlights several agave varietals, grown in distinct micro-climates. Almost every batch is made by a different mezcalero.

Crafted from agave Espadín, in the heart of Sola de Vega, Oaxaca. Hand milled and twice distilled in clay pots by Maestro Mezcalero Don Lorenzo Amador. Expect fruity aromas of cherries, raspberries, banana, licorice. Delicately smoked olives, incense, and wet earth. Floral tones, violets, sweet agave, tobacco, with a slight bitterness on the finish.

About Mezcal

Mezcal is a distilled spirit made from roasted agave plants between two days and two weeks, which gives it a distinct smokey flavor.
What scotch is for whisk(e)y, mezcal is for tequila.

It can be made from different types of agave in different parts of Mexico, but most of it (60%) comes from the state of Oaxaca. Mezcal offers a large diversity of flavor profiles and ranges between 40 and 55% ABV.
