Cognac

Treasured by connoisseurs, rappers, royalty, and glitterati all over the world… cognac is a specific type of brandy, produced in the Cognac region of France. Made from Ugni Blanc grapes, cognacs are typically double distilled in copper pot stills and aged in Limousine or Tronçais oak casks. The resultant “eaux-de-vie” are blended together before bottling.

There are six different Cognac cru, these wine-growing areas are designated to produce Cognac. The most prestigious cru is the Grande Champagne, followed by the Petite Champagne, Borderies, Fins Bois, Bons Bois and Bois Ordinaires.

There are three different categories of cognac defined by law. The category of cognac depends solely on the age of the youngest Cognac in the blend. V.S. (Very Special) is the youngest of the cognacs, then V.S.O.P. (Very Superior Old Pale), and the X.O. (Extra Old) cognac is the crème de la crème of cognacs…Explore all of the luxuries cognac has to offer.
