About The Glenturret 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky
For the 2022 release, fewer than 60 casks in the Glenturret distillery’s collection were carefully selected by the Glenturret whisky-maker Bob Dalgarno to form this masterpiece. As any old Scottish distillery, Glenturret prides itself in not rushing their whisky making process- Perfection takes time, and so every cask is a result of handcrafted slow batch production and an unusually slow distillation in hand-beaten copper stills, giving this spirit the needed time to develop its most powerful flavor. Maturing in a combination of American oak hogsheads and European oak casks, this 12 year old single malt whisky is non-chill filtered and bottled at a powerful ABV of 46%, but that does not come across on the taste buds. Rather, they will be delighted by creamy vanilla, rich oak, and sweet fruit notes. For another dimension to the flavor, have this superb whisky with a splash of water.

About Scotch
Scotch is the most popular whisky in the world and is considered the king of them all! There are five whisky regions in Scotland (six if you count the not officially recognized Islands), and each of them produces spirits with unique properties and distinct tasting notes. (The type of grain used determents the type of the scotch.)
Malt whisky is made of malted barley, and grain whisky uses other grains like corn or wheat. Most of the time, a whisky is blended from different distilleries hence the name blended scotch, but if a malt whisky is produced in a single distillery, we get something extraordinary called a single malt.
On the nose, this whisky will treat you to soft aromas of nutty malt, vanilla custard, and fruit-studded biscuits. The palate is rich and warm, with notes of cinnamon, sugar, plump, spiced apple, and cream-filled pastries. The finish has a sweet character with notes of runny caramel, rich char, and more creamy vanilla.
