Tree Vodka is the first spirit crafted by DeFisher Family Farm and is made entirely from apples grown on the farm. "Western New York is one of the world's largest apple growing regions," says DeFisher. "Our climate, soils, and proximity to Lake Ontario make for the most ideal conditions to grow the best fruit in the world. We press our own fresh juice to use to make Tree Vodka. We ferment that juice here on site, where we can carefully watch the process to achieve the absolute best and purest product."
Following fermentation, the apple juice is distilled through DeFisher's copper stills. Tree Vodka has a distinct and pleasant apple aroma. Notes of apple spices, cinnamon, pepper and crisp citrus dominate the palate, and lead to a smooth finish with a touch of tartness.
Tree Vodka isn't an apple-flavored vodka — it is a vodka made from apples. Pick up a bottle today!
About Tree Vodka
Situated along the banks of Lake Ontario, the DeFisher Family Farm is a fourth generation family fruit farm shepherded by David DeFisher. Our aim is "to craft high quality spirits from fruit grown right here on our farm," he says, noting that the 450-acre farm grows cherries, apricots, peaches, pears, pluats, and raspberries.
Historians are not clear on the exact origin of vodka since different sources link its beginning to both Russia and Poland. But one thing is clear: this somewhat simple spirit, first used as a medicinal concoction, has become one of the most versatile drinks in the world.
It can be distilled from any type of grains, potatoes, or even grapes worldwide. Due to its simplicity, this unaged spirit's main flavor factor is the quality of water and the ingredients used in the distillation process.
Primarily used in cocktails, vodka can also stand its ground when enjoyed neat.
