About Union Horse Reserve Straight Bourbon Whiskey

Formerly known as Dark Horse, Union Horse is distilled in the heart of Kansas using the traditional sour mash process, Union Horse Reserve Bourbon is an artisan small batch bourbon distilled using locally sourced grains. The simple mash bill of corn and rye is distilled twice during production, which manages the PH levels during fermentation, creating more consistency during production. The whiskey is aged anywhere from 2-5 years.

Union Horse has sweet aromas of cherry on the nose, followed by oak, baking spice, vanilla and caramel. The palate is full bodied and harmonious with caramel, oak, spice and dried fruits, followed by a long smooth finish.
