The Story

Chris Wilfred Hughes was getting frustrated with the sweetness and general unhealthiness of non-alcoholic Spritz cocktails. That's when he decided to concoct his own, one that would reinvent the cocktail and capture its complexity even without the alcohol. Over a period of 18 months, he channeled his passion for cocktails and innovation into what would become Wilfred's Bittersweet Orange & Rosemary Aperitif. 100 unique recipes later, he found the perfect combination of botanicals that include Japanese hibiscus, English rose, fresh rosemary, and bitter oranges. Wilfred's Aperitif is made with all-natural botanicals and has 0% alcohol. It was named "Britain's #1 Non-Alcoholic Drink" at the Great British Food Awards in 2020.

Tasting Notes

The nose is warm with spice, orange, and herbal aromas. The sweetness is toned down, making for a balanced palate with orange, rosemary, clove, and rhubarb. There's a pleasant bittersweetness throughout.
